where it all started
born from a ‘quarter-life crisis’
regardless, it was born out of a profoundly personal turning point—a “now what?” moment many face after graduating college. skylar found herself without a roadmap for navigating adulthood, wondering how to manage her career, mental health, relationships, and self-discovery in a chaotic, fast-paced world.
during this period of uncertainty, her support system became her anchor. conversations with her mother, a licensed therapist, and her father, an executive coach, inspired transformative insights. These experiences sparked a question: what if I could share these life-changing conversations with my peers?
post-grad hustle
at 23, skylar pitched to c-suite executives, battling imposter syndrome and fear.
her mantra, regardless, became her lifeline:

this mindset propelled her forward, and what began as a podcast with zero followers grew into over 100 episodes, 36,000 listeners, and a partnership with the los angeles tribune podcast network—all while balancing a demanding 9-to-5 career.
the next decade: growth in the face of adversity
at 27, skylar faced a series of life-shaking events: a layoff and a breakup in quick succession. two pillars of stability—her career and her relationship—vanished overnight. rather than succumbing to despair, skylar leaned into her support system and chose to rise above the grief.
